So many movies!!!

Watching movies is more than a hobby for me, its like my favorite thing to do. Watching a great movie with great company... there's nothing better! Since the last time I wrote anything here I've seen a few movies... so here are my thoughts on them.
I saw Tree of Life (5 out of 5 stars for sure). If you haven't heard of it you should really seek it out. Its a beautiful film that follows the characters relationship with God during the highs and lows of life, love, and tragedy. Its really one of the best movies I've seen in a while.
Next on the list is X-men: first class... you should know I'm a huge x-men fan. i loved the cartoons as a kid and have watched all the movies, so of course i loved this movie as well. very well made! (4 out of 5 stars)
Hangover- if you've seen the first on then skip the second. There is nothing new about it. The same old story with a new location. really there was nothing funny about it. (1 out of 5 stars)

A new kind of blog...

For a long time I wondered what the point of me having a blog was. I do have a lot to say but i didn't really know what i wanted to talk about. then i thought, "well, what do i love to do? other than paint my nails? WATCH MOVIES!!" so here it goes! a blog about the movies i watch, mainly on netflix, i hope you like it! and also i hope it can help you choose what to watch when i just don't know what to watch :)
review number one: BRIDESMAIDS!!
I just watched this movie on friday. As a fan of SNL, Kristin Wigg and Maya Rudolf i was totally excited to see this movie. It totally doesn't disapoint. It might be the best chick flick, dirty joke comedy ever! i really feel like all the jokes were funny but more importantly this movie had heart. it was a movie about a girl who's a little lost and sees her bff moving on with her life while her's seems to be standing still. its a must see so... GO! watch it now! GO!!

Positive Polly meet Negative Nancy

Its easy to be an ass. Its easy to be selfish. Its easy to do what you want with no regard to those around you. However why would you want to be that person. You'd have no friends and end up being that person everyone avoids. So please all you Negative Nancy's out there, make a different choice when you wake up. Choose to be a bit kinder, to think before you speak, to be self aware. Say thank you, hold the door open, smile. I know you might be tired, maybe you've had a long day and you have no patience, but what if you just let it all go. What if that thing that is making you so cranky won't mean a think in six months? Then maybe that thing should not be the reason you say an unkind word to a sales person at the mall, or to your friend or sister. And if you do have a brain fart and act like an ass then gosh darn it, say you're sorry. Talk it out, have a cookie and then take a moment to realize that tomorrow is a new day and you get to do it better next time. When you know better you do better. So lets all just do a little better tomorrow and be kinder people.

Covers, My Number 2, and Bruce Springsteen

I've never taken the time to listen to any Bruce Spingsteen. He always seemed like a guilty pleasure of old white men. Last night he was the guest on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, my second favorite late night show host, my number one of course being Conan O'Brien. He sang "because the night" a song originally done by Patti Smith. Bruce wrote the song but didn't perform until after Patti had released it. It is one of my favorite songs to rock out to in the shower. However that is not the clip that i have posted here today... no no. The above posted video is on Jimmy and Bruce doing a cover of Willow Smith's "Whip my hair." enjoy... but also take some time to check out some Bruce Spingsteen if you're not already a fan. hello, my name is daniela and this is my blog. i don't really have much to say at this particular moment in time... but as soon as i do i guess i'll write it here. i really only have a blog cuz one of my friends is anti-myspace.com which is understandable, i mean it does take your soul and precious moments of your day with out you even knowing it.
hmm maybe i should tell you a bit about myself, i'm charming and witty, sarcastic and a little bitter, sweet at very rare occations. i am the anti-cute and hate pet names however nicknames are ok. i am 23 and go to school and work and oneday i will be known world wide for being awesome. nothing specific just general awesomeness... i guess that's it for now... i'll leave it open for some Q&A... see ya
